Claire:(listening at Betty’s ringtone) I didn’t pass out in a mexican whorehouse again, did I? Betty: No, um, but could you check my phone for me? It could be Daniel. (Claire stands up. She’s naked) Betty: And there’s the back part. Claire:(reading the telephone screen) Its a guy with no chin and permanent bed head. Betty: Oh, that’s Walter, my boyfriend. Claire: He says he has a big surprise for you, and then there’s what looks like a smiley face. Betty: Yeah, he does that. He also likes to make a clown face out of the “a” in Walter. Claire: Hot. (She pauses, and returns in the bath) This guy is a pain in the ass. Break up with him already. Betty: It’s not that easy. He loves me. Claire: Well, according to his latest message, he “wuvs” you. Why are you holding on to him? (Betty doesn’t answers) I’ll stand up again. Betty: Okay! Okay. Before my mother died, she told me that the most important thing in life is to find someone who loves you, and when you do, hold on to them no matter what, because in the end, that’s all that really matters. Claire: Honey, if your mother were still here, all she’d want to know is that you’re happy, and you’re not happy right now. (After a while, still solemn) I gotta pee.
